Palais Theatre
Prolac completed the external painting works on Melbourne’s iconic Palais Theatre.
Originally owned by the Phillips brothers, the current building was built in 1927 and designed by the architect Henry E. White. It neighbours Luna Park and hosts more than 100 events per year. Works were completed whilst events took place with no disruptions to the functioning of the building. The mineral paint that was used on the heritage façade ensures a long lifespan with non-fading colour that is ideal for the Australian climate.
Prolac was pleased to be a part of the refurbishing works to ensure that this Heritage Listed building is preserved into Melbourne’s culture for years to come.
